Hi, my name is Ksenia. My husband Dan and I were heartbroken when we heard the news that the invasion of Ukraine had started on February 24th.
Once it all sunk in, I realized that I have to do something to help, and I have to start now. I intend to help as many families seeking safe haven as I can to establish their new lives in Calgary, and other areas of Canada to the best of my abilities.
The initial goal of this fund-raising effort, with the help of the Pinnacle 2020 Foundation, is to assist a family arriving in Canada by finding suitable and affordable accommodations and subsidise a portion of their first year of rent and to ensure they can still put food on the table and even put their children into activities so they can start over. Then I aim to find the next family as soon as possible to host and assist.
The Pinnacle 2020 Foundation offers tax deductible receipts for donations of $50 or more and will continue to raise money for new families as the need remains high.

The Impact of The Pinnacle 20/20 Foundation
Kim Zurfluh provided the following update from the village of Colon in Honduras:
The Covid 19 Pandemic has had a direct impact physically, mentally, and financially on the people of Honduras.  The Government of Honduras put in place a National Curfew from 8 pm-6 am with a large presence of police check stops and military to enforce these rules.  Travel to cities for groceries, supplies, banking, and necessary errands is restricted to once every two weeks depending on your passport number. 
With schools shut down last year, P2020 monetary donations went from feeding children lunch in three of the poorest schools to feeding  the  families of these children.  After generous donations, 400 families were given supplies needed such as rice, beans, flour, and toiletries. We are happy to report that children are back in school as of this update.

We would like to send a special thank you to all that have supported the Honduras School Lunch Program. Your generous donations have provided food and supplies to help feed families that are in lockdown due to COVID-19.
In addition to the lunch program students, about 1,000 more have now received some basic food supplies, soap, and toilet paper as Pinnacle 2020 delivered 4,000 lbs last weekend. Simone Carmel (Retired Pinnacle DR) has helped pass out these packages with our lead volunteer Pastor Anael (Grey Pinnacle shirt pictured above). Your donations have come when they have been needed most! Because of you, families have food on their tables and basic necessities in their homes.

LAUNCHING OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD 2019
The Christmas season is upon us. This holiday season the Pinnacle 20/20 Foundation has partnered with Samartian’s Purse Operation Christmas Child. Together the hope is to bring smiles to the faces of many children who may not otherwise receive anything this Christmas.
